Senior DevOps Engineer

• IT - Software Engineering • Bern • Contracting • Full-time • August/September - 6 months with option to extend • DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes Your tasks: • Responsibility for the operation, further development, and automation of modern DevOps platforms • Construction, optimization, and support of CI/CD pipelines to support agile software development • Automation of infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code • Collaboration with software development teams, System Engineering, and Security to improve delivery processes • Ensuring high availability, stability, and security of the platforms • Analysis and resolution of complex technical disruptions in the production environment • Further development of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions • Collaboration on cloud and hybrid cloud initiatives as well as the modernization of existing system landscapes • Support and coaching of teams in DevOps principles and best practices   Your profile: • Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or System Engineer in complex enterprise environments • Sound knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable solutions • Very good experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container technologies • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm) • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Private Cloud) • Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) • Understanding of IT security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the banking environment • Strong analytical skills as well as a solution-oriented and independent way of working • Very good German skills as well as good English skills
