Berne, Suisse \| 80-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute <br /> • Examine acquisitions of foreign investors in Switzerland according to legal, economic and security criteria • Prepare decision bases for superiors and draft proposals to the Federal Council • Provide legal information on the scope of the LEIE • Represent Switzerland during bilateral or multilateral negotiations on investment screening • Develop the LEIE, for example within the framework of the parliamentary legislative process • Monitor, until the LEIE enters into force, the collaboration processes with other federal offices and Swiss representations abroad; establish relations with economic associations and develop guidelines for stakeholders <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree in law • Ideally, Swiss bar admission or experience in administrative procedure • Ideally, specialization in commercial and economic law, particularly in merger and acquisition (M&A) law and competition law, or experience in transnational investments • Commitment, sense of responsibility and resistance to stress; analytical skills, ability to handle a heavy workload and strong team spirit • Excellent social skills and a strong sense of service towards stakeholders • Very good active knowledge, both oral and written, of two official languages and English; passive knowledge of the third official language <br /> In a few words The Export Control, Investment Screening and Sanctions service center will be responsible for the implementation of the Federal Act on the Screening of Foreign Investments (LEIE), which was adopted on 19 December 2025. The LEIE provides for in-depth screenings for certain acquisitions of Swiss companies by foreign investors. Many economic sectors are concerned (sensitive technologies and arms industry, power plants and energy supply, infrastructure in the fields of health, telecommunications and transport, etc.).
