Then you will help shape this newly created role from the very beginning. As a subsidiary of the Swedish Saab Group, we employ around 140 people in Switzerland. At two locations, we develop, produce and distribute technologically demanding goods for the defense industry and the civilian sector. Our customers include various procurement authorities and leading corporations in their field – both in Switzerland and worldwide. To strengthen our laboratory and further develop our analytical methods, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a: Research Associate Analytics 100% (m/f/d) Your tasks: In this newly created role, you will take on a central function in our laboratory and work closely with the Development, Quality and Project Management departments. You do not simply carry out analyses, but get to the bottom of the causes and develop concrete solutions from them. Develop and secure methods Develop, optimize and establish analytical methods for existing and new laboratory processes Validate, verify and fully document methods according to internal and regulatory requirements Independent performance of analytical work with modern technologies such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, microscopy and - Plan, perform and evaluate complex experiments Analyze and pass on knowledge Investigation of deviations, analyzing causes and deriving suitable corrective and preventive actions Accompanying product development over the entire product lifecycle Scientific interpretation of analytical data as well as preparation of results and recommendations for action for internal stakeholders Creation of structured reports and decision-making bases Participation in the continuous improvement of our analytical processes and quality standards Your profile: University degree (BSc/MSc) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science or comparable Several years of professional experience in an analytical-chemical laboratory, ideally in an industrial environment Strong communication and presentation skills to prepare analytical results and recommendations for action in a target-group-oriented manner for Development, Quality and Project Management Teamwork skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation High self-motivation and solution-oriented way of working Very good knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications German skills at least C1, English skills at least B2 Mobility is mandatory, as the workplace in Zwieselberg is not reachable by public transport What awaits you: Responsible and varied activity with a high degree of creative freedom Modern laboratory equipment and short decision-making paths Interdisciplinary cooperation in a dedicated team Attractive employment conditions as well as development opportunities Our offer: Free parking, fitness subscription, further training opportunities and flexible working time models: Some benefits await you with this position.
