For the management of our analytics department, we are looking for a reliable, meticulous, motivated, goal-oriented, and open-minded person as Team Leader Analytics (all genders) • 100% immediately or by agreement • permanent position • Borer Chemie AG, Zuchwil Your area of responsibility In this function, you will be directly reporting to the Director Research & Development and will take on the following main tasks: Personnel and technical management of three chemistry laboratory assistants in the analytics department Development of new analytical methods with and without validation (e.g. TOC, IR, IC, HPLC, REM-EDX, etc.) Conducting chemical and instrumental analyses (chromatography, spectroscopy, microscopy) Observation and analysis of the latest developments in the field of analytics Creation of SOPs and analysis reports Processing technical customer inquiries related to analytics (water and bath samples, residue analyses, validations, stability tests, etc.) Care and responsibility for the testing materials, devices, and auxiliary devices used Coordination of external tests and processing of internal and external projects Representation of the analytics department during ISO audits (ISO 9001 and ISO 13485) Maintenance of close cooperation with product development, quality testing, and application technology Your profile Completed degree (FH/Uni) in the field of chemistry or analytics Several years of experience in the field of instrumental analytics (especially chromatography, spectroscopy, or microscopy) Several years of management experience Analytical, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial thinking and action Good knowledge of the MS Office suite and experience with LIMS or Microsoft D365 Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking Your benefits A varied activity with exciting challenges Flexible working hours Various team events Participation in training and further education Participation in fitness subscription Discounted Reka checks Hot and cold drinks as well as break fruits Charging station for e-vehicles Questions about the position For technical questions, Mr. Herren, Director Research & Development, is available by email.
