For the care of a child with special needs, who is being integrated into regular care, we are looking for a school assistant ISR in the Betreuung Schauenberg 1 as of 01.08.2026. Tasks ## • You accompany and support a 1st-grade child with visual impairment in everyday care and promote the child's independence and participation • You work closely with the care team, the teachers, and the legal guardians and contribute to an appreciative and inclusive care culture • With your pedagogical expertise, you accompany the ISR child in social and academic learning • You are interested in interdisciplinary cooperation with the school staff involved in the promotion and the parents • Working hours are on Monday and Friday from 12.15 - 18.00, additional assignments in the Ferienhort take place by arrangement Profile ## • Good German skills (level C1) and basic PC user knowledge (e.g., Word, Outlook) • Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of people • Flexibility as well as very good teamwork and communication skills • Joy in dealing with people of different cultures and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation in the school team • Professional experience in family-complementary care is an advantage We offer ## • A varied, versatile, and independent activity • A multicultural, exciting environment • Competent support from the Leitung Betreuung • Progressive salary and social benefits according to the guidelines of the Schul- und Sportdepartement der Stadt Zürich (Horte) Apply Apply About us ## We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 19 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively. To the Tagesschule Schauenberg belong the Mittag- /Abendhorte Glaubten 1, Glaubten 2, Eigengrund, Lerchenhalde Primar, Lerchenhalde Kigaund Schauenberg 1. In the locations Glaubten 1, Glaubten 2, Lerchenhalde and Eigengrund, around 30 kindergarten children are cared for daily; in Schauenberg 1, it is up to 260 children over midday, from the first to the sixth grade. The care facilities are open from Monday to Friday from 11.55 to 18.00 as well as in all school holidays of the Stadt Zürich.
