Under the umbrella of the social work, the Stiftung Heilsarmee Schweiz operates the Kinderheim Sonnhalde in Münsingen and fulfills a service level agreement with the Kantonalen Jugendamt of the Kanton Bern. In our children's home, 24 children from birth to the end of their first education live, distributed across three mixed-gender residential groups. We accompany the children in their everyday lives following a trauma-pedagogical and systemic-solution-oriented approach. In doing so, we support them in a resource-oriented manner in their developmental tasks. In our institution, we live a culture of openness, participation, and diversity. Your tasks ### • Holistic: Accompanying and caring for the children and adolescents as well as organizing leisure activities • Professionally document: Timely file management, reports, and protocols • Interdisciplinary: Cooperation with specialists, KESB, social services, and therapists • Co-shaping: Participation in project groups and integration of new children and employees • Team culture: Participation in team meetings, supervision, intervision, and pedagogical exchange • Flexibility: Night standby and weekends in a fair rotation What you bring with you ### • Qualification: Completed basic vocational training in the healthcare or social sector, even if your qualification was some time ago • Experience: With children and/or adolescents is an advantage • Trauma pedagogy: Knowledge/experience is an advantage or willingness for further training • Participatory, systemic basic attitude • Personal: Reflective, grounded, reliable, with a sense of humor What we offer you ### • Professional deepening: Institutional further training in trauma pedagogy over the next 2 years • Scope of responsibility: Opportunity to contribute experience and actively help shape the institution • Manageable structures: Short paths, clear framework, and flat hierarchies • Working conditions: Contemporary employment, development perspectives, and a dynamic working environment • Committed and motivated staff with a lot of joy and humor
