Boiler Operator (m/f/d)

For our client, a leading and traditional Swiss industrial company in the Basel area, we are looking for a technically skilled and committed personality as a Boiler Operator, effective immediately or by arrangement. Your main tasks • Ensure operational safety: Ensuring the trouble-free and efficient operation of the steam boiler and compressed air systems. • Process & water analytics: Carrying out periodic controls, monitoring and analysis of the boiler feedwater, as well as sampling and control of auxiliary materials. • Maintenance & troubleshooting: Independent analysis and rectification of technical faults as well as active participation in overhaul and maintenance work. • Quality & safety standards: Preparation of technical reports and consistent compliance with applicable safety and quality guidelines. • Plant control: Coordination and verification of oil processes as well as carrying out regular tank inspections. • Flexible support: Cross-departmental assignments within the thermal production and evaporation plants. Qualifications What you bring with you • Basic training: Completed technical vocational training (e.g., as a mechanic, locksmith, heating installer, or electrical installer). • Specialist training: Successfully completed boiler operator course is a prerequisite. • Professional experience: Sound practical experience in the operation of industrial utility plants or in a comparable function in boiler house operations. • Way of working: Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach with a strong hands-on mentality. • Safety thinking: High quality and safety awareness as well as pronounced reliability. • Flexibility: Readiness for flexible working hours and for troubleshooting outside of regular working hours. • Languages: Very good German skills in speaking and writing.
