Job description Within our residence, you accompany the residents in their daily lives with benevolence, professionalism and respect for their dignity. In close collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of the nurse, you contribute to their comfort, their safety and the maintenance of their autonomy. Your role is essential to offer personalized and quality support, centered on the needs, lifestyle habits and wishes of each resident. Your missions • Ensure basic care and the accompaniment of residents in activities of daily living ; • Participate in the maintenance of the well-being, comfort and autonomy of the people accompanied ; • Observe the general state of the residents and transmit useful information to the healthcare team ; • Accompany the residents with respect, empathy and professionalism, including in situations of great dependency or end of life ; • Actively collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in order to ensure global and personalized care ; • Contribute to a safe, warm and stimulating living environment. Profile sought • Swiss Red Cross Health Care Assistant certificate or title deemed equivalent ; • 2 to 3 years of experience with elderly people in an EMS; experience in psychogeriatrics is an asset ; • Good mastery of basic care (hygiene, comfort, mobilization and accompaniment of residents) ; • Knowledge of the specific needs of the elderly person and ability to promote the maintenance of their autonomy ; • Mastery of spoken and written French (minimum B2 level) ; • Sense of responsibility, reliability and team spirit ; • Positive, benevolent and respectful attitude towards residents, relatives and collaborators ; • Ability to adapt and interpersonal skills.
