Retail Associate

The employer is looking for a: sales assistant (reported profession) Tasks: • welcome and assist customers during the shopping journey • understand customer needs and propose the most suitable products • manage sales operations, cash register and POS • prepare and create floral arrangements and gift wrapping with care and aesthetic taste • take care of cut flowers and plants, maintaining their quality and freshness • ensure the order, cleanliness and presentation of the shop • handle restocking and the organization of display spaces • work independently, managing the point of sale with responsibility during assigned shifts • contribute to and create a welcoming and professional environment for customers Requirements: • experience in retail • ability to use cash register and POS • excellent/good knowledge of the Italian and German languages • knowledge of English is a plus • availability, good appearance, courtesy and a positive spirit • reliable and with good organizational skills • manual dexterity and aesthetic sensitivity; experience in creating floral arrangements is an advantage • willingness to work independently Employment details: • workplace Locarno • 100% employment • employment by prior agreement, permanent • salary to be agreed upon
