The start date is as soon as possible in our offices located on the 24th floor of the Prime Tower in Zurich, Switzerland, or in our offices in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Responsibilities • Extend and maintain a scalable and heterogeneous infrastructure system across multiple data centers with switches, firewalls, HSM, as well as physical servers, virtual devices, cloud • Extend and maintain existing and new blockchain nodes • Improve and maintain Kubernetes clusters • Contribute to hybrid infrastructure projects • Ensure the secure operation of backends (advanced load and failover balancing with HAProxy, Apache and Nginx, database server replication) • Proactively monitor and improve the existing monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting infrastructure (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Grafana) • Maintain services once in production by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health • Promote the integration of secure technologies and applications • Patch management; continuously deploy new firmwares and software • Maintain and create technical documentation of the infrastructure as code/data • Stay technically up to date on the latest technologies and cloud native environments • Degree in computer science or at least 5 years of experience in systems engineering • Deep and practical skills in Linux system administration, Linux certifications (LFCS, LFCE, RHCS- etc.) are a plus • Great interest in servers, automation and IT security • General enthusiasm for open source software • Networking skills (switches, firewalls, VPN, network protocols) • Knowledge of the existing open source ecosystem (Linux, Unix, HAProxy, Nginx, Apache, Squid, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible, Docker) • Proven experience in systems engineering and defensive security (DDoS protection, intrusion prevention) • Above average project management and organizational skills • High level of integrity and quality awareness • Cloud experience (Azure, GCP) is an advantage • Excellent command of English; German is an asset • Knowledge of blockchain technologies and crypto assets desirable • Be part of an international, dynamic team in blockchain and fintech led by experienced professionals • Shape the future of finance by working at the forefront of B2B digital asset solutions • Contribute to a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture with flat hierarchies • Take on significant responsibilities with opportunities for learning and professional development • Acquire deep industry knowledge and have a tangible impact • Participate in regular company-wide meetings, knowledge sharing sessions and team events • Enjoy a modern and central workplace in Zurich with a first-class infrastructure Our culture At the heart of our company, we prioritize: • Innovation and continuous learning • Collaboration and knowledge sharing • Entrepreneurial spirit and flat hierarchies • Values such as excellence, delivery, accountability, passion and unity Please note: • We do not accept CVs from recruitment or interim agencies. • Due to Swiss/German labor legislation, we can only accept candidates with the right to work in Switzerland or Germany (holders of a Swiss/German work permit or EU/EFTA citizens).
