As the global project manager for the Birr site, you will assume overall responsibility for the successful planning, management, and implementation of our large-scale project in Birr. You will bring together several sub-projects around a common goal, ensure professional project governance, and serve as the central interlocutor for management, stakeholders, and project teams. In this key role, you will ensure that deadlines, costs, quality, and risks are always managed transparently and that the overall project is successfully completed. Your area of responsibility ## • Overall responsibility for the management of the global project for the Birr site across all sites and sub-projects • Ensuring the achievement of objectives in terms of costs, deadlines, quality, permits, as well as risk and stakeholder management • Technical direction and coordination of the project managers of the different sites (Site 1, Site 2 as well as Site 3+4) • Management of all interfaces between project development, engineering, construction, procurement, finance, operations, as well as external partners • Implementation and continuous development of a unified project governance including decision-making processes and reporting • Elaboration of solid decision bases for management, the CEO, the board of directors, and the owners • Monitoring of the overall schedule planning as well as dependencies and critical milestones across all sub-projects • Active management of project risks, escalations, and conflicts of objectives • Ensuring transparent and consistent communication towards management, authorities, partners, and internal stakeholders Your skills ## • Completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, project management, or a comparable field • Several years of experience in managing large, complex projects, ideally in the field of data centers, industry, infrastructure, or building • Experience in leading interdisciplinary project teams as well as in matrix organizations In-depth knowledge of project management, costs, deadlines, and risks • High capacity for decision-making and persuasion as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills • Experience in stakeholder management of management and senior executives • Structured, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented working method • Very good knowledge of German and English   • You maintain an overview even in complex project situations. • You think entrepreneurially and act pragmatically. • You reconcile different interests and lead projects towards success in a targeted manner. • You create transparency, establish priorities, and make informed decisions.
