Group Leader Morning Care & Head of Holiday Care (approx. 33%) from 01.08.2026 ## approx. 33% (Morning care approx. 20% + Holiday care 13.3%) Primarschule Uster is the third largest school community in the Canton of Zürich with around 3'000 school and kindergarten children. Uster is reachable from Zürich HB by train in 14 minutes. For our morning care as well as the holiday care, we are looking for a responsible and committed specialist (m/f/d) for the combined function of Group Leader Morning Care and Head of Holiday Care starting from 01.08.2026. The employment is permanent. The assignment in the morning care takes place during school weeks, the assignment in the holiday care takes place exclusively during defined school holiday weeks. Working times and workload: ### • Morning care: approx. 20% | Monday to Friday, 06.45-08.30 Uhr (only during school weeks) • Holiday care: 13.3% | Assignment exclusively in five (to be determined) school holiday weeks per year • Per holiday week: 50 hours of assignment (9 hours/day, Mon-Fri, plus 5 hours of preparation and follow-up) • Opening hours holiday care: 07.00-18.00 Uhr • Holiday care in Uster is basically possible in all holiday weeks - except between Christmas and New Year as well as in the 3rd and 4th summer holiday week Your area of activity: ### Morning care (Group Leader): • Leadership of the morning care • Organization of a reliable and structured start to the school day • Care of up to 25 children (depending on the day of the week) • Ensuring reliable care and promotion of the children in the morning time • Professional and personnel leadership of the employees, including promotion and further training • Administrative and organizational tasks (e.g., duty roster, budget management, parent communication) • Close cooperation with the after-school care management, management of daily structures as well as other specialist departments Holiday care (Head of Holiday Care): • Professional and organizational leadership of the holiday care • Planning, organization and implementation of the holiday weeks (program, excursions, material, infrastructure) • Care of up to 60 children as well as ensuring a safe, reliable environment • Coordination and professional guidance of a team of up to 10 employees • Administrative and organizational tasks (e.g., assignment planning, material/budget planning, parent communication) • Close cooperation with the after-school care management, management of daily structures as well as other specialist departments What you bring with you: ### • Completed training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Childcare, a teaching diploma or a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ) as a specialist in care • Proven organizational experience (criterion), ideally in daily structures, holiday offers or comparable settings • Leadership and communication competence as well as a structured, independent way of working • Enjoyment of early working hours and the willingness to perform an intensive workload (50 hours/week) in the defined holiday weeks • Resilience, flexibility and joy of innovation in everyday life • Willingness to take on training tasks • Proficient in handling modern digital work tools What awaits you with us: ### • Attractive employment conditions according to the guidelines of the City of Uster • Opportunities for further training and personal development • Modern infrastructure and digital aids for optimal organization • A committed and professional team as well as a supportive working environment • A versatile, lively and inspiring field of work with direct influence on pedagogical quality Interest piqued? ### Discover more about our work: TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@primarschuleuster Daily structures: https://www.primarschule-uster.ch/tagesstrukturen For questions, the deputy management of daily structures, Ivan Martinez, is available at 044 944 74 46 or via email at ivan.martinez@uster.ch. ! ### You can submit your application via the following link: recruitingapp-2794.umantis.com/Vacancies/926/Description/1
