Zimmerwald | 80-100% (job sharing possible) Your contribution • Plan, implement, and execute modern IaC and GitOps solutions, taking responsibility for the entire deployment cycle • Design, execute, automate, and further develop MLOps environments for the deployment, monitoring, and reliable operation of artificial intelligence and machine learning models throughout the entire lifecycle, down to the GPGPU hardware • Constantly administer, maintain, and optimize complex Linux system environments for the end-to-end operation of an ICT layer for a data platform, in order to ensure stable and high-performance operation • Administer Linux systems holistically, optimize performance, and implement system-hardening measures and security configurations • Execute, further develop, and optimize monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure reliable system operation • Manage the physical infrastructure of the computing center, including components related to servers, network, and data center, and provide support for installations and maintenance interventions <br /> What distinguishes you • Completed education in the IT sector (SSS/SUP) and several years of practical experience in the engineering and management of complex IT systems • Deep expertise in the DevOps field, gained through several years of experience in the implementation, operation, and automation of modern Linux infrastructures, as well as in-depth knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps, and related processes • Pursuit of excellence, combined with a strong propensity for learning and openness to holistic and elegant ICT solutions, as well as innovative approaches outside the mainstream, such as Dhall, Pull-GitOps, and the <<Dew->> and <<Fog-Computing>> paradigms • Practical mindset and an independent and team-oriented personality, with a passion for working on the entire technology stack -- from the physical infrastructure of the computing center to the automated environments of platforms and big data such as ClickHouse and Kafka • An irreproachable reputation and the ability to integrate into an intelligence context, acting with discretion at all times are required <br /> In summary You will be part of a data science team that deals with the processing of collected civil and military communication data. The intelligence information thus obtained supports the SIC and the SIM, thus providing an important contribution to the security policy of Switzerland.
