IMI Climate Control As one of the business units of IMI, Climate Control is a global provider of distribution systems and room temperature management. We work closely with our customers to optimize energy efficiency and improve the performance of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) to ensure comfort and reliability in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Our comprehensive solutions extend to heating, cooling, and hot water systems and cover critical areas such as pressurization, water quality management, as well as precise balancing and control. Maintenance Mechanic (m/f/d) - Fixed-term for 18 months Your main tasks Professional, independent, and efficient execution of maintenance, repair, and upkeep work on production plants, machines, and technical equipment Analysis and rectification of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions during ongoing operation Execution of preventive and reactive maintenance work to ensure high plant availability Participation in the creation, maintenance, and further development of maintenance plans Systematic troubleshooting, documentation of malfunctions, repairs, and technical measures Active participation in technical improvements, plant optimizations, and internal projects Contributing ideas to improve the availability, safety, quality, and efficiency of the plants Support with conversions, adjustments, and optimizations of machines and operational resources Collaboration with production, quality, and external service providers Ensuring order, occupational safety, and environmentally friendly working within your own area of responsibility Readiness to participate in on-call service Our requirements Completed technical vocational training, e.g., as a production mechanic, maintenance mechanic, or comparable training Good knowledge and practical experience in the field of hydraulics Knowledge in the field of pneumatics as well as in the mechanical maintenance of production plants Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machines and technical systems Advanced knowledge in reading technical drawings, diagrams, and maintenance documentation Initial experience in technical improvements, conversions, or smaller projects is an advantage Basic understanding of structured maintenance processes, spare parts management, and preventive maintenance Good basic MS Office skills; experience with ticketing or maintenance systems is an advantage German language skills in speaking and writing; English language skills are an advantage Your competencies Good communication skills, positive influence, networked thinking, and cross-border collaboration A practical, solution-oriented personality with a strong hands-on mindset Interest in questioning and actively further developing existing working methods Independent, reliable, and structured way of working Team player, communicative, and open in dealing with colleagues and external partners Readiness to take on responsibility and to develop professionally What we offer you A exciting, versatile, and responsible task awaits you Modern employment conditions Comprehensive induction into the versatile area of responsibility Collegial, dynamic team with an open communication culture Occupational safety & health protection The physical requirements described in the "Main tasks" section are necessary to perform the essential tasks of this position.
