Start date: 01.09.2026 Work location: Bern Do you enjoy contact with people and appreciate varied administrative tasks? In vehicle registration, you ensure that vehicles are traveling safely and in compliance with the law on the roads of the Canton of Bern. Together with around 50 colleagues, you make an important daily contribution to a functioning transport system. With digital services and a lot of specialist knowledge -- close to the customer and close to practice. Your tasks <br /> • Registration of various vehicle types • Processing of counter and postal business • Issuing and managing vehicle registration documents and license plates • Customer advice at the counter as well as by telephone and e-mail • Creating simple correspondence according to templates • Processing electronic applications in the e-service <br /> Your profile <br /> • Completed vocational training EFZ in the service sector • Commercial diploma and/or several years of experience in administrative activities is an advantage • Experience in direct customer contact as well as strong service and customer orientation • Independent, careful and reliable way of working • Flexible, communicative and team-oriented personality • Proficient German as well as good oral French skills (B1), further language skills are welcome • Good user knowledge of MS Office programs • Knowledge from the vehicle trade is an additional plus <br /> We offer you <br /> • A varied and responsible activity with a direct contribution to road safety • A versatile specialist function with active customer contact • A motivated and competent team in an appreciative working environment • Careful induction by experienced colleagues • A modern workplace in Bern-Wankdorf -- from 2031 in the new administration building in Münchenbuchsee <br /> Contact Curious?
