January 2027 or by agreement Your responsibility: <br /> • Personnel, technical, organizational and financial management of the office • Strategic orientation and positioning of the department • Ensuring a future-oriented and innovative orientation as well as positioning of the office, including ongoing review and optimization of existing processes • Supporting the government council in all departmental topics • Managing the office's affairs from preparation to decision-making to ensuring implementation • Maintaining partnerships and networks with various stakeholder groups, including cooperation with management, directorate, departments, superior government council, as well as participation in (inter-) cantonal and national commissions, working groups, and bodies, such as the Cantonal Leadership Staff Basel-Landschaft (KFS) <br /> Your background: <br /> • You have a completed degree (FH, HF, university) preferably in the field of forestry, environmental science or comparable, as well as proven professional experience in the topics of forest and wildlife, and ideally in other topics of the office (hunting, fishing, wood). • Additionally, you bring convincing leadership experience, are skilled in concept development, and are implementation-oriented, achieving set goals. • You are a responsible, decisive, and open-minded leadership personality. • Furthermore, you are loyal, steadfast, and skilled, as well as successful in dealing with various stakeholder groups. • You have excellent communication skills, are empathetic, and have a good sense for employees at various levels. • Additionally, you are passionate and enthusiastic about the office's topics. <br /> For questions about the position Claudia Richiger HR Business Partner 061 552 96 43 Claudia Richiger HR Business Partner 061 552 96 43 Office for Forest and Wildlife of both Basels Our mission is to preserve the forest and wildlife for current and future generations.
