Clerk Court Registry 80%

Work location: Bern The criminal department of the Regionalgericht Bern-Mittelland adjudicates crimes committed by adults in the Bern-Mittelland region. A total of around 40 people work in various functions in the criminal department. We are looking for a female clerk or a male clerk in our Gerichtskanzlei (employment degree 80%) as of 1 September 2026. Your tasks <br /> • Supporting the Gerichtspräsidentinnen and Gerichtspräsidenten in close cooperation with the Gerichtsschreiberinnen and Gerichtsschreiber in all administrative matters related to criminal proceedings • telephone and personal contacts with our customers, who include, in addition to the accused persons, lawyers, organs of other law enforcement agencies, courts, or interested citizens and media representatives • supervision of apprentices <br /> Your profile <br /> • completed commercial or equivalent training • completed vocational instructor course (or willingness to complete this) • practical experience, preferably at a court or in the legal profession • reliable, independent, team player • resilient, discreet, impeccable reputation • enjoyment of complex processes and curious to expand own knowledge • confident user knowledge of Word and Outlook, basic knowledge in Excel • French language skills (level A2). <br /> We offer you We offer you a varied and exciting activity in a legal environment.
