Department for Economy, Social Affairs and Environment Your tasks Supporting people At the Belforterstrasse residential home, you will accompany adults with cognitive and physical impairments and an increased need for care. Many live with chronic, progressive diseases and exhibit conspicuous behaviors. Medical care You ensure the physical well-being of the clients and take over their individual medical care. This includes, among other things, tube feeding, administering injections, wound care, and medication management. Shaping everyday life You take over tasks such as basic care, household management, and the organization of the spatially integrated daily structure. Additionally, you are responsible for administrative activities, including the maintenance of the digital client file. Developing perspectives As a valuable member of an interdisciplinary team, you advocate for the individual needs of our clients. You specifically promote their abilities, create development goals, and participate in the annual needs assessment. Your profile Experience You are experienced in dealing with people with disabilities, ideally also with challenging behavior. Shift work and working on weekends and public holidays are part of a responsible professional understanding for you. Personality You approach the clients with empathy, openness, and respect. Even in demanding care situations or emergencies, you remain calm, act confidently, and convey security. Education You have completed training as a Fachperson Gesundheit EFZ or an equivalent qualification. Language You have a confident command of the German language and communicate clearly, empathically, and appropriately for the target group.
