Polymechaniker CNC Milling Deputy Department Manager

Apply Initial Situation ### For our customer, an established and internationally oriented company in the field of precision manufacturing, we are looking for a dedicated personality as Polymechaniker CNC Milling / Deputy Department Manager (m/w/d). In this versatile position, you will combine demanding CNC manufacturing with technical responsibility and additionally undertake coordinative tasks within the production team. You will work on high-precision components, optimize manufacturing processes, and contribute your know-how to both production and the further development of the team. Job Vacancy No. 6639 ## Tasks ### • Creating, optimizing, and commissioning CNC programs for the manufacturing of precision parts • Setting up and operating CNC and conventional machines as well as presses • Manufacturing demanding precision components according to technical drawings • Continuous optimization of CNC and milling processes • Execution, documentation, and evaluation of quality and measurement controls • Working with modern measurement systems to ensure the required quality • Accompanying the introduction of new products, samples, and prototypes into series production • Technical support of the production team and training of new employees • Preparation, coordination, and monitoring of customer orders • Processing orders with Microsoft Dynamics 365 • Taking over selected organizational tasks in the absence of the team leadership, such as procurement as well as holiday and absence planning Requirements ### • Completed basic technical training, for example as Polymechaniker EFZ, or several years of experience in industrial production • Experience in CNC manufacturing and in setting up machines • Confident handling of technical drawings and measuring instruments • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel • CAM knowledge is an advantage • Initial leadership experience or interest in taking on more responsibility in the future • Independent, reliable, and responsible way of working • Technical understanding and strong quality awareness • Enjoyment of working in a team IT ### MS Office: good Excel: very good Microsoft Dynamics 365: an advantage CAM: an advantage Languages ### German m+s: good English m+s: an advantage Job Start ### Immediately or by arrangement Work Location ### Liestal Special ### This position offers you the opportunity to combine your experience in CNC manufacturing with a next step towards leadership and coordination.
