Project Manager Senior Core Infrastructure / Deputy Head Bern (and home office) | 80-100% (job sharing possible) Your contribution Lead demanding ICT, infrastructure, and data center projects Plan, steer, and monitor projects as well as their budget, deadlines, resources, and risks Coordinate internal teams, external service providers, suppliers, and specialists Develop decision-making bases, status reports, concepts, and project documentation Contribute to the further development of standards, processes, governance, and operating models, and perform the deputy role for the Head of Core Infrastructure Gradually familiarize yourself with operational, organizational, and leadership-related topics surrounding data center operations What makes you unique Completed higher vocational education at FH or HF level in electrical engineering, systems engineering, ICT, building technology, or a comparable field and several years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, ICT Project Manager, IT Infrastructure Project Manager, or in a comparable role Good understanding of technical contexts in the ICT and infrastructure environment as well as strong skills in project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and reporting Experience with classical and/or agile project methods Business understanding as well as confident handling of budgets, costs, and priorities High level of personal responsibility, commitment, and implementation strength Interest in long-term development towards operational responsibility and leadership In a nutshell Kommando Cyber is specifically expanding its ICT and data center infrastructure and is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial-minded personality. In this role, you will take over the management of demanding ICT, infrastructure, and data center projects. At the same time, we will systematically develop you over several years towards a future operational management function for one of our new data centers. From the start of employment, you will closely accompany the construction project and will be gradually introduced to the new role. This position is suitable for a personality who already manages complex projects confidently today and wants to take on more responsibility in operational operations, leadership, and the strategic development of a data center in the medium term.
