For our customer in the Lucerne region, we are looking for a motivated and upright personality as a Strategic Purchaser Raw Materials / Lead Buyer (m/w/d) 100%. You think strategically, negotiate sovereignly and want to make a direct contribution to sustainable innovations? In this key position, you will be responsible for the strategic procurement of important raw materials and will actively contribute to securing the company's competitiveness, innovative strength and supply security in the long term. Your tasks • Strategic purchasing of defined product groups for raw materials and semi-finished products (e.g. chemicals, plastics or adhesives) • Development and implementation of sustainable and future-oriented procurement strategies • Leadership of price, quantity and contract negotiations at national and international level • Ensuring supply security as well as optimizing costs, quality and delivery performance • Analysis of international raw material markets and derivation of relevant recommendations for action • Maintenance and development of long-term supplier partnerships • Close cooperation with the product development, quality management and operational purchasing departments • Active participation in the optimization of purchasing processes and digital procurement solutions • Key user function in the further development of SRM and ERP systems • Preparation and presentation of relevant market and procurement information for internal stakeholders • Regular supplier and factory visits in Switzerland and abroad Your profile • Bachelor's or Master's degree (FH/Uni) and further training in purchasing (e.g. purchasing specialist, purchasing manager) • At least three years of experience in strategic purchasing in an industrial company • Experience in the procurement of raw materials such as plastics, chemicals, adhesives, paper or comparable materials is an advantage • Very good German language skills (at least level C1) and good English language skills (at least level B2) • Very good ERP skills and high affinity for digital procurement processes, electronic tools and AI applications • Willingness to travel of around 20% • Distinct communication and negotiation strength • Professional appearance and convincing expression • Structured, reliable and independent working method • High stress tolerance, assertiveness and conflict ability • Analytical thinking and entrepreneurial action What to expect • Challenging and responsible key position with great creative leeway • Direct influence on important procurement and company decisions • Innovative corporate culture with short decision-making paths and high personal responsibility • Modern, international working environment with exciting development opportunities Interested?
