Professional retraining as a construction site manager in district 3 # Office des travaux publics | 80-100 % | Samedan ## The Office des travaux publics is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance and operation of cantonal roads as well as hydraulic structures and soft mobility in the Grisons. We also take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the cantonal territory. The canton's road infrastructure includes more than 1'450 engineering structures, including suspension bridges up to 90 meters high and tunnels up to 3 kilometers long. The challenges presented by the nature of our mountainous canton in both summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. We are looking for the road maintenance department in district 3 Samedan from 1 November 2026 or by agreement for a professional retraining candidate as a construction site manager Your area of responsibility • Participation in the management and control of assigned construction sites as a representative of the client • Planning and coordination of works • Ensuring the quality, scope and execution of all contractual works • Preparation of estimates, tender documents and invoicing • Budget monitoring • Execution of technical tasks for road maintenance • Ensuring the standby service as an intervention manager What we expect from you • Completed professional apprenticeship in the construction sector • A few years of professional experience, ideally in civil engineering • Willingness, as a career changer, to follow the necessary training to perform the tasks of a construction site manager • Ability to learn and persuasiveness • Personality with high social competence, organizational and negotiation skills as well as team spirit • The general working language is German, a good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage We look forward to receiving your application online and getting to know you.
