As an information and graphic designer, you will play a decisive role in shaping the visual communication of Innosuisse. You will translate complex content into clear visual stories, further develop our design standards and ensure that our communication tools are implemented consistently, accessibly and professionally across all channels. Specialist Visual Communication and Information Design (m/f/d), 60-80 % Conceive and design visual communication tools for web, social media, newsletters, presentations, publications, events and internal channels. Develop graphics, infographics, diagrams, illustrations, icons, visualizations and layouts for digital reports and factsheets and prepare complex funding, strategy, impact and innovation topics in an understandable and target-group-oriented manner. Design flyers, exhibition walls, posters and other information media, accompany their production and develop visual concepts for campaigns, events and communicative focuses. Adapt design elements for different formats, channels, target groups and language versions and advise internal clients on the visual preparation of complex content – including information hierarchies, narrative structures and modes of representation. Ensure the correct application of the Corporate Design, further develop templates, graphic libraries, presentation templates and reusable design elements and support the communication team in the use of templates and visual standards. Define and ensure quality standards for layout, typography, imagery, diagrams and infographics as well as consider requirements for digital accessibility, readability, usability and media-appropriate production. Plan and prioritize design assignments, create briefings and, if necessary, manage agencies, printing companies, photographers, illustrators and other production partners. Provide technical supervision for a Mediamatik apprentice in design tasks. Observe new developments in information design, visual communication and AI-supported design processes and introduce suitable tools and working methods. University degree or equivalent training in communication, graphic, information, multimedia, interaction design, mediamatics, visual communication or related disciplines as well as at least five years of relevant professional experience. Strong conceptual and design skills, a convincing portfolio and experience in structuring complex content and translating it into understandable visualizations. Proficient use of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, modern design and prototyping tools as well as very good PowerPoint skills including the development of professional presentation templates. Good knowledge of design for web, social media and digital publications as well as experience with printed products, pre-press, production processes and simple exhibition appearances. Experience with corporate design systems, scalable design templates and the requirements for accessible documents and accessible visual communication. Ability to advise internal clients clearly, prioritize several parallel assignments and maintain an overview even with short deadlines. You are interested in the Swiss innovation ecosystem and want to visually convey complex funding and innovation topics.
