Network Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks: • Planning, implementation and orchestration of network and security platforms in the on-premise environment • Definition, configuration and optimization of the network and security infrastructure • Active participation in the entire ICT architecture as a subject matter expert for infrastructure hardware and its interfaces to other systems such as e.g. operating systems, network layer, authentication services, basic applications etc. • Construction of the physical and virtual network infrastructures • Design and further development of network availability, security and data integrity through standardization • Interdisciplinary cooperation with other subject matter experts (e.g. network, virtualization, infrastructure etc.) • Performance of in-depth diagnoses for performance problems, error analyses and capacity planning in the area of infrastructure hardware • Documentation of system configurations and processes as well as ensuring compliance with guidelines and procedures Your profile: • Training as an Informatiker/in EFZ platform development or comparable training with further education (HF/FH) • Professional experience in the engineering and operation of enterprise network and security infrastructures • Knowledge in routing, switching, VLAN, TCP/IP, VPN as well as network segmentation • Experience with enterprise network components and firewalls (e.g. Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto or comparable manufacturers) • Knowledge in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP as well as authentication services and in the analysis and rectification of complex network disruptions as well as in performance and capacity optimizations • Knowledge in the area of IT security, network hardening and high availability • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working with a strong sense of quality • Team-oriented personality with very good German and good English skills Your added values: • Look forward to a varied and responsible activity in a modern ICT environment, in which you can actively contribute your expertise and help shape the infrastructure sustainably • A collegial and motivated team awaits you, which places value on open cooperation, mutual support and short decision-making paths
