PLC PROGRAMMER/AUTOMATION ENGINEER (M/F)

We are consistently continuing our path of sustainable innovation and growth and are looking for a talented PLC PROGRAMMER/AUTOMATION ENGINEER (M/F) for our biotech business. At our headquarters in Urdorf (Zürich), Switzerland, our engineers develop next-generation technologies that are changing the digitalization and automation of bioprocess development in biopharma. Our vision is to maintain this leading position and to stand out significantly from all other bioprocess software applications and automated sampling systems. YOUR TASKS • Define technical requirements for automation solutions and customer projects • Create PLC programs with visualization (Siemens S7 / WinCC) • Create functional specifications and technical documentation • Perform risk analyses and create test plans • Parameterization and commissioning of electrical components (e.g., PLC controls, frequency converters, measuring transmitters, PID controllers) in-house and on-site at the customer, including training (approx. 10% travel) • Troubleshooting and provision of support services YOUR PROFILE • Candidates must have a valid work permit for Switzerland. Please state your current work permit status. • Very good German and English skills (written and spoken). • Sound knowledge in control technology as well as in PLC programming, demonstrated by relevant project experience. Training/qualification in automation technology at FH or HF level is an advantage. • Very good knowledge of PLC programming with SCL (STEP 7) and WinCC (Classic and TIA Portal). Knowledge of AWL and GRAPH 7 is an advantage. • Independent, structured, and responsible way of working. • Experience in bioprocess automation and project management is an advantage.
