Automation Specialist 80 - 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces, and markets pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical, food industry, and cell or DNA research sectors.

This is what you can achieve:

Electrical design of complete systems as well as assembly, wiring, and commissioning

*

Drawing electrical schematics and defining the necessary components

*

Feasibility assessment and development of automation solutions

*

Development and design of module tests

*

Design of sensors and actuators

*

Optimisation and further development of internal tools

*

Checking requirements in collaboration with project management

*

Responding to support requests from the field

This is what you bring with you:

*

Training as an automation technician, electrical engineer, or a related discipline

*

Further education as a technician HF is an advantage

*

Experience in robotics, automation, and laboratory automation is an advantage

*

Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g. Machinery Directive)

*

Creative and communicative personality

*

Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams

*

Good English skills (spoken and written) in an international environment

*

Willingness to travel for work (approx. 5-10% per year)
