We offer nine apprenticeships annually as Laboratory Technician EFZ Chemistry specialty with focus on synthesis or analytics (a).   Training Concept   The three-year training is based on the proven triadic model with three learning locations:   • Vocational school (aprentas, Muttenz) • Internal training laboratory at Bachem • Practice in various areas of Bachem AG   Job Profile   Laboratory Technicians EFZ Chemistry specialty are experts in the laboratory. They work with a wide variety of substances that they investigate, process, or produce themselves.   In the synthesis laboratory, they develop new molecules. New compounds are created from various starting materials through targeted chemical processes; precision and sound chemical understanding are crucial here.   In the analysis laboratory, they check samples for identity and purity. Using modern analytical devices and methods, they ensure that all products meet the highest quality requirements.   Requirements   • Secondary school level E or P (Baselland) or equivalent training • Interest in scientific contexts • Logical and networked thinking • Good powers of observation as well as an exact and careful way of working • Reliability and perseverance • Teamwork skills and flexibility   Benefits for apprentices   • Monthly salary: 1st year of apprenticeship: CHF 800.- 2nd year of apprenticeship: CHF 1-000.- 3rd year of apprenticeship: CHF 1-300.- • 30 days of vacation • One-time contribution for a personal laptop • Monthly contribution to public transport subscription • and other benefits   Application   Interested?
