School Social Worker

The Regional Social Service Erlach is seeking a committed and independent personality who shares our passion for supporting children, young people, and families as of 1. October 2026 or by agreement. We are a dynamic team active in the areas of social welfare, child and adult protection, and school social work. The school social work department supports primary schools and upper school centers in 12 municipalities in the Erlach region. School Social Worker (50% with annual seasonal model) ## Your area of impact • Accompaniment and support: You accompany children, young people, and families in overcoming psychosocial challenges and strengthen their abilities for independent problem-solving • Creative interventions: You develop and implement interventions in classes and groups and actively contribute to a positive school climate • Consulting and prevention: You advise the school team and support schools in the prevention and early detection of social problems • Networking and cooperation: You maintain cooperation with parents as well as internal and external specialist agencies for child and youth welfare and build sustainable networks Your profile • Completed degree in Social Pedagogy/Social Work and solid professional experience working with children, young people, and parents, ideally in school social work • Distinct communication skills, creativity, humor, team skills, and flexibility • Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented work approach with pronounced self-management • Secure German language skills in word and writing; oral French language skills desired • Driver's license and own vehicle Our offer • A lively and varied work environment with a large scope for design • Interdisciplinary collaboration and regular professional exchange within the school social work team • Contemporary working conditions, individual further training opportunities, and supervision
