Jurist Job Description The legal support unit of the Direction générale de l'enfance et de la jeunesse (DGEJ), composed of 8 people, is looking for a jurist as part of a replacement for a duration of six months. Responsibilities Ensure the drafting of administrative decisions as well as the drafting of judicial procedure acts in connection with the activities of the service; Provide legal support and advice to the service's collaborators in their areas of activity (protection, prevention, surveillance, adoption); Contribute to the development of a legal reference documentation and follow the evolution of legislation, doctrine and case law in order to guarantee the consistency of the legal options taken by the management; Occasionally ensure a physical presence in the different sectors of the service, more particularly during professional colloquiums in order to provide exchange and a legal perspective on the files handled; Contribute to the drafting of draft laws and legal adaptations as well as to responses to cantonal and federal consultations and to parliamentary interventions; Participate in the activities of the service's International Measures Cell, in situations of international measures for the protection of minors according to the 1996 Hague Convention and in situations of international child abduction according to the 1980 Hague Convention; Proceed to the analysis of the content of extract 2 of the criminal records of the management and staff of institutions with accommodation, the staff of camps of more than 7 days, foster families and adoption candidates during annual controls and before engagement in accordance with the ordinance on the placement of children. Qualifications University Master's degree in law required; Lawyer's certificate, an asset; Specialization in family law or administrative law, as well as professional experience in judicial procedures and practices or in the field of protection of minors of at least three years; Knowledge of the German language, a plus; Spirit of mutual aid and collaboration; Analytical and synthesis skills; High writing proficiency; Good mastery of IT tools.
