Theoretical training: Courses are provided at the Ecole Professionnelle Technique et des Métiers (EPTM) in Sion one to two days per week. Practical training: Practical training in the company takes place at CIMO, under the responsibility of a trainer. Inter-company courses (CIE) are organized by the Ecole Professionnelle Technique et des Métiers (EPTM) in Sion in order to receive the practical basics of the profession. As part of your apprenticeship, you will be required to ensure the functioning of the IT infrastructure and its services. You will install, configure, develop and monitor the network and its operation. You will implement, manage and ensure the maintenance and security of server systems and their services. In order to protect these systems, you will also participate in the securing of data, access management and the implementation of backup protocols. To perform these various tasks, you will be assisted by various tools and programming languages, as well as IT platforms. After obtaining your CFC, you can consider the following further training: After a few years of practice and depending on your skills, you can access positions of responsibility such as sector manager or project manager.
