Network & Security Engineer (Specialist Fortinet) / Permanent Introduction We are an established headhunting company specialized in successfully placing highly qualified professionals. On behalf of our client, a leading trading company in its industry with headquarters in Zürich (City), we are looking for, effective immediately or by agreement, a Type of work In this demanding position, you are responsible together with your team for the maintenance and administration as well as the engineering of the national and international networks (the network devices are based exclusively on Cisco). You take on tasks in the area of Network-Security and Network-Performance and operate this with the support of the network provider. The main task is network security (Firewall (Fortinet/Fortigate), Web-Proxy, E-Mail Security (including Seppmail and Cisco), etc.). You evaluate, plan and carry out upgrades (project consulting for the provider) and create/update system documentation. Furthermore, you take on tasks in the area of 2nd and 3rd level support (network specific) and support the specialist departments with technical questions. Furthermore, you describe yourself as a Cisco-Specialist and have, if possible, corresponding certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.). Experience in the areas of Firewall/Security with Fortinet is an important requirement for this role. You communicate confidently in German as well as fluently in English (spoken and written).
