• 23 June 2026 • 80 - 100% • Indefinite duration • Brünnenstrasse 66, 3018 Bern Start of duty : 1 January 2027 Workplace : Bern The Archaeological Conservation Section of the Archaeological Service of the Canton of Bern is looking for a head of archaeological furniture management / preventive conservation and deputy head of section, starting from 1 January 2027 or a date to be agreed upon (permanent contract, 80-100%). Your tasks • Management of the archaeological furniture management and preventive conservation service • Planning, coordination and prioritization of tasks and projects while respecting available resources and considering scientific needs • Management, maintenance and climate control of archiving premises and depots as well as their infrastructures • Development and implementation of operational processes and planning of technical adaptations in collaboration with the head of section, colleagues and external partners Your profile You enjoy teamwork and distinguish yourself by your sense of responsibility and organization, your autonomy and your great motivation.
