The company has been combining two excellent trades since 1976: the transformation and refining of precious metals. As part of the PX Group, the Swiss leader in metallurgy bringing together about ten companies, PX Précinox stands out for the quality of its alloys, its control over its entire value chain, and its strong ESG commitment. Embedded in an ambitious growth dynamic, it plans to double its production capacity in the medium term. To lead this Business Unit, we are looking for a Managing Director – PX Précinox. Attached to the two co-CEOs and a member of the PX Group Executive Committee, you will operationally, commercially, and strategically direct PX Précinox. As the conductor of an experienced Management Committee, you will ensure the performance and development of the Business Unit. You will consolidate the operational excellence inherited from your predecessors and accelerate market diversification in Switzerland and internationally, beyond the watchmaking sector alone. You will unite your 180 employees around a common vision and a company culture that is resolutely human and family-oriented. Your main tasks Lead, manage, and develop the Business Unit of around 180 employees Lead the Management Committee with federative, human, and visionary leadership Develop the Business Unit's strategy and ensure its long-term implementation Plan team objectives and put in place the necessary means to achieve them Develop the company's turnover through the acquisition of new customers, market diversification, and Key Account management Foster the group's family and ethical company culture to develop and motivate your teams Collaborate actively with the general services and other Business Units of the group as a member of the Executive Committee Your profile HES or EPFL engineer training in materials, mechanics, or chemistry, ideally completed with an MBA You have at least 10 years of experience in a similar position in the industry, watchmaking, or subcontracting Experience in managing industrial production in the field of transforming or refining precious metals is a major asset You have solid commercial and business development experience in Switzerland and internationally Your leadership is federative, participatory, and human. Close to the field, you inspire, motivate, and develop your teams You have a strong sense of communication, a lot of flair, and a strong sensitivity to innovation as well as ESG aspects.
