Student Intern Location and Economic Development

Student Intern Location- and Economic Development Generis acts as a service company at the interface of politics and economy. We position, develop and market regions, municipalities as well as industry clusters and operate economic development on a mandate basis for the canton of Schaffhausen. In this mandate, we position the region in international location competition, accompany companies in their settlement in Switzerland and care for established companies. We initiate projects to improve regional location factors and drive their implementation forward. Our customers include the public sector as well as private organizations and companies. As reinforcement for our team, we are looking for: Student Intern Location- and Economic Development You bring: Interest in the fields of economic development, location promotion, regional development and/or economic policy Ongoing or completed university or college degree with a focus on economics or business administration or equivalent experience, training and further education Above-average commitment, curiosity and team spirit High flexibility and willingness to work Flair for marketing Enjoyment of personal contacts Interest in a temporary position as an internship or entry-level position (6-12 months) What you do: Collaboration on strategies, initiatives and projects in the context of economic development and location marketing (regional, cantonal, national) Accompaniment of settlement and company development projects Collaboration in project management of different regional and location development projects Research and analysis as a basis for the development of business concepts Creation of presentations and communication materials Your drive: You want to help shape the economic development of a region and gain insight into economic and location development. You gladly tackle tasks that need to be done. You like to solve problems together with others and involve them in the process.
