Your tasks Development and further development of complex Java-based desktop applications for medical diagnostics Modeling and implementation of complex medical business logic on the client side Ensuring software quality through unit and integration tests Analysis of functional requirements from the specialist departments and implementation into maintainable, scalable software solutions Close cooperation with Product Owners and backend developers to design intuitive and high-performance user interfaces Support in maintenance, error analysis, and optimization of existing applications Your profile Completed studies in Software Engineering or Computer Science Sound knowledge in Java (from version 11 or higher) as well as a sense for clean, maintainable code with a view to the user experience Experience with Maven or Gradle Understanding of fat-client architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVP) and their practical application in desktop applications Familiarity with unit and integration tests (e.g., JUnit, TestFX) Experience in JavaFX is an advantage – especially in the area of UI design, layouts, and event handling Very good language skills in German and English (spoken and written) Analytical thinking and structured way of working High level of personal responsibility and quality awareness Team orientation and strong communication skills in interdisciplinary environments Interest in new technologies and continuous improvement Your perspectives Look forward to an exciting and varied challenge in a dynamic, international working environment.
