Exciting small projects such as total renovations and the design of animal enclosures round off your profile of activities. Furthermore, you will contribute decisively to ensuring the smooth operation of the zoo through a variety of activities – from machine-based logistics to pond and sewage maintenance to participation in animal services. What you bring You have a successfully completed vocational apprenticeship (as in structural/civil engineering, road construction, or in another related trade) and have gained several years of professional experience. Practical knowledge in handling domestic or wild animals is an advantage, although your basic interest in working with wild animals is required. You are a team player, have good social skills, are resilient, and pitch in everywhere. Thanks to your quick comprehension and your interest in various specialist areas, you approach demanding tasks and challenges with motivation and solve them independently. Profound knowledge of "traditional" masonry crafts as well as handling construction machinery (wheel loaders, excavators, etc.) is a decisive advantage. You command German in spoken and written form and have user knowledge of common MS-Office programs. Sporadically planned weekend assignments require your flexibility.
