Place of work: Spiez Your tasks In a team with experienced colleagues, you will independently handle a wide range of child and youth psychological issues. Your main tasks include the psychological assessment of children and adolescents and their educational, school and/or social environment, counseling for families, educators, education officials, and authorities, as well as psychotherapeutic treatment of children, adolescents, and families. As part of your expert activities, you will also create reports and expert opinions for courts and child protection authorities. Engagement in internal and/or cantonal specialist groups is a matter of course for you. Your profile We are looking for an initiative and flexible person who works both in a team and independently. You are characterized by mental resilience and good communicative skills. You have a university degree in psychology and a diploma in education consulting-school psychology from the canton of Bern or equivalent training. Knowledge of the Bernese school and education system is an advantage. You are interested in questions of cultural and school integration. The cantonal education consulting supports and advises parents, children, and adolescents, as well as all persons and institutions responsible for the education and training of children and adolescents, from preschool age to the end of secondary level II education, in questions and difficulties related to development, education, and schooling.
