Head of Facility Management Head of Facility Management (m/f/d) Your Mission You are responsible for the holistic management and further development of Facility Management at a technologically demanding production site. In this key role, you combine operational excellence, including participation in troubleshooting or maintenance work in day-to-day business, with strategic development: you ensure the availability of our existing plants, drive the modernization of the technical infrastructure, and establish future-proof FM standards. You act as a sparring partner for management and production, lead projects at a senior level, and assume functional leadership of selected teams and experts. Your Responsibility – impactful and versatile Strategy & Leadership Further development and harmonization of FM processes, standards, and systems Definition and implementation of a sustainable maintenance and investment strategy Functional leadership and further development of internal teams and external partners Management of site-wide FM initiatives and projects (e.g., digitalization, ESG, efficiency programs) Technical Operation & Excellence Ensuring the trouble-free operation of complex building technology systems (Compressed air, HVAC, water, heating, electrical supply) Responsibility for availability, operational safety, and lifecycle optimization Continuous optimization of maintenance plans and plant documentation Active participation in troubleshooting or maintenance work as well as management of internal and external services Project Management (Senior Level) Management of FM and infrastructure projects in existing buildings and new construction Technical further development of modern production and office spaces Interface management with production, HSE, IT, as well as external partners Compliance, Safety & Sustainability Support and implementation of safety, quality, and environmental standards Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and standards Integration of ESG aspects and sustainable operating concepts Your Profile – technically strong, leadership-oriented Technical basic training (electrical or mechanics), ideally supplemented by further training as a technician, engineer, or Facility Manager Several years of experience in maintenance and technical building management – both operational and strategic Proven experience in project management (Senior Level) Sound knowledge of modern FM systems and maintenance strategies Experience in quality and environmental management (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 an advantage) Strong entrepreneurial thinking as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working Leadership competence, high personal responsibility, and assertiveness Very good German skills as well as good Austrian or English skills Our Offer – attractive & future-oriented Key role with high visibility and scope for design Modern working environment in an innovative industrial company Demanding projects in the tension between existing buildings and new construction Attractive employment conditions according to market standards Individual development and further training opportunities Flexible working models and an appreciative corporate culture Why this role is special You do not only shape the operation – you actively help shape the future of the site.
