Department of Education Your tasks Management tasks You are responsible for the professional leadership of the childcare team for kindergarten and 1st-3rd grade primary school children and you act as a link between the day structure management and the team members. Promotion and integration Together with the day structure management, you are responsible for the support and promotion of all students in the day structure, especially those with special care needs. Pedagogy and childcare The care of the students during free play times, as well as during various activities, constitutes a large part of your area of work. In doing so, you are a role model and contact person for the team members. Communication Communication is your strength. You exchange ideas, provide constructive feedback, and network within the day structure and with other areas of school operations. You can lead in a structured manner and motivate your team to work towards goals. Cooperation You cooperate closely with teachers, specialists, and school social work. You maintain good cooperation with legal guardians and with agencies outside of the school. If necessary, you participate in working groups, develop concepts, and implement them in everyday life. Your profile Experience You bring several years of experience in social pedagogical work with children and have experience in the leadership and management of a team (including team building and team development). Personality You work responsibly, independently, and are resilient. Your strengths include flexibility and very good communication and networking skills. You do not shy away from actively addressing conflicts and maintain an overview in hectic situations. Education You must have a recognized degree in Social Work (Social Pedagogy) at HF or FH level. Additionally, further training in team leadership is very desirable. Language Very good oral and written German skills are mandatory. Other languages are an advantage.
