traversa, Network for People with a Mental Illness, is a social enterprise that advocates for inclusion and improvement of the living situation of people with a mental illness. In the Wohnhaus Steinibach in Horw, 20 people between the ages of 18 and 40 find a home as a transitional solution for up to 4 years. A team of specialists supports the residents on their way to independence. As of August 1, 2026 or by agreement, we are looking for a motivated specialist with a positive attitude towards life and a completed training as Care Specialist HF/FH or in Social Pedagogy HF/FH, 80%-90% ## These are your tasks ### • Accompany and care for people with a mental illness following the principles of Recovery • Reference person work • Collaborate with external reference persons, relatives, and specialist offices • Work alone or together in an interdisciplinary team • Instruct and support residents in household tasks • Departmental responsibility • Administrative tasks You bring ### • Experience in working with people with a mental illness • Independence, empathy, flexibility, resilience, and team spirit • Appreciative and open basic attitude, solution-oriented and creative way of working • Willingness to work irregularly / night shifts / weekend shifts • Experience in household management and cooking skills • Good IT application skills We offer you ### • Varied, exciting, and challenging activities in a social enterprise • Openness to the different life experiences and resources of our employees • Trusting work climate and independent work • Supervision and specialist advice • Remuneration and employment mainly according to cantonal guidelines We look forward to your electronic application in PDF format.
