In particular, it can open investigations and take measures to remedy cases of unlawful data processing. On the other hand, under the Transparency Act, the IFPDT is the competence center for all issues related to the principle of transparency and access to official documents in the Federal Administration. Its main task is to manage mediation procedures between citizens and authorities in cases where the latter do not guarantee access to an official document. If mediation is unsuccessful, the IFPDT issues recommendations. Additional information The first selection interview is scheduled for July 2026.
