Due to a resignation, we are looking for an engaged personality as Head of Public Works and Maintenance (100 %) immediately or by arrangement Tasks In this versatile function, you are responsible for the operational and administrative management of the public works operation. Your main tasks include: Leadership of the works group in organizational, technical, and personnel aspects Planning, coordination, and supervision of maintenance as well as the care of public facilities, nature and paved roads, as well as waste disposal Organization and management of winter services including on-call duty Support of the water supply Maintenance of agricultural facilities and alpine farming Responsibility for the maintenance of the outdoor pool as well as the operation and maintenance of the ice rinks Maintenance of hiking trails, bike trails, and tourist infrastructures Responsibility for the works yard, magazines, vehicle fleet, and equipment Annual, weekly, and vacation planning for the works operation Preparation of maintenance and investment planning including budgeting Budget responsibility and financial control Planning and coordination of municipality-owned projects Preparation of applications for the management and the municipal council Your profile You have a technical education as well as leadership experience and appreciate varied tasks.
