What you can achieve • Responsible for the technical-operational aspects of the passive ICT basic infrastructure in a security-relevant environment • Supporting and advising specialist departments, project managers, as well as on-site operations and support units • Analyzing technical problems and coordinating solution finding in nationwide field support • Planning and providing the ICT basic infrastructure (Space, Rack, Power, Cooling, Cabling and Connectivity) • Coordinating network components, port expansions, and infrastructure services (WLAN, VPN) • Creating and maintaining technical documentation What you bring with you • University degree in computer science or vocational training as an Informatiker/in EFZ or equivalent training with corresponding professional experience • Experience in the field of ICT infrastructure, networks, or communication systems • Independent, structured, and service-oriented way of working • Readiness for nationwide assignments as well as driver's license category B • Good German and English skills (Level B2) • Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage Salary and benefits Around 3000 employees from RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make a significant contribution to the security of Switzerland every day.
