Orthopedic surgery treats diseases and accidents affecting the motor system, namely the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and nerves. We are recruiting a/an Nurse in the Orthopedic Surgery unit - CDM 8 Months 75% (ref : 1980) Your mission: You will have to ensure the reception of the patient and prepare them physically and psychologically for the surgical intervention. In this capacity, you are in charge of; • Settling the patient and presenting them with administrative organization information • Ensuring pre- and post-operative care and monitoring as well as technical care in orthopedic surgery • Preventing the occurrence of nosocomial infections by promoting a healthy environment around the patient, through compliance with hygiene and asepsis rules • Carrying out care according to medical prescription and in compliance with the unit and institutional procedures • Ensuring the maintenance of the Electronic Patient Record (Carefolio) • Attending necessary training in order to maintain and develop the skills expected for the position • Knowing how to adapt to emergency situations; knowing how to alert and contact the right interlocutor and perform emergency procedures • Actively participating in the organization of the unit We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria: • Nursing diploma • Work in 12h shifts • In possession of the Croix rouge Recognition • 2-3 years of experience in a hospital environment • Meeting the requirements of all our patients (semi-private, private, and VIP) • Languages: French, English (ideally) • Experience in orthopedic surgery • Sense of contact and service within a private establishment • Autonomy, benevolence, versatility (surgery pole), capacity for adaptation, organization, and sense of priorities are essential qualities • Proof of flexibility in scheduling • Positive attitude within a team and being able to generate a climate of trust • Good knowledge of IT tools (Opale, Carefolio) We offer you: Contract type: Maximum Fixed-Term Contract of 8 months Percentage: 75% Start date: 1st September 2026 Share on • * • * *
