Project Portfolio Manager Decommissioning The PSI Institute is the largest research institute for natural sciences and engineering in Switzerland. For the Radiation Protection and Safety department, we are looking for a Project Portfolio Manager Decommissioning Your tasks Proactive monitoring of the decommissioning project portfolio as well as further development of reporting and the overarching portfolio view Organization and moderation of steering and coordination meetings including structured documentation Expenditure and allocation controlling in close cooperation with the responsible financial officers Reporting to department management and directorate as well as creation of decision-making bases, documents, and presentations Coordination of inquiries from relevant stakeholders such as supervisory authorities, EFV/EFK and ETH Council regarding the topic of decommissioning Collaboration in decommissioning projects as well as support for cross-disciplinary issues in decommissioning Your profile University degree (Master), for example in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study Several years of experience in project portfolio management as well as confident handling of corresponding tools and methods Experience in dealing with supervisory authorities as well as with demanding internal and external stakeholders Experience in leading large-scale industrial projects in plant engineering, e.g., in decommissioning, in radiological waste management, in nuclear technology plants or in a comparably regulated environment is an advantage Ability to prepare complex matters in a manner appropriate to the target group Strong communication skills, diplomatic skill and affinity for science and research Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form We offer Our institute is based on interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic cooperation.
