Tasks In this function, you will act as the client and overall project manager for complex infrastructure and urban space projects from the preliminary study up to and including the permit process and develop innovative and sustainable solutions for road spaces, squares, utility lines and mobility infrastructures. You coordinate the diverse interests of the population, politics, administration, associations and specialist planners and merge them into viable overall solutions. You conduct tenders and award planning and engineering services. You prepare decision-making bases for the administration and the political decision-makers and process parliamentary matters. You represent your projects towards authorities, political bodies and the public and conduct public information events as part of the project work. You actively drive the digital transformation in the infrastructure sector with modern planning methods such as BIM. Profile University degree as a civil engineer, traffic engineer, environmental engineer, landscape architect or comparable training Several years of experience in the planning and project design of infrastructure and civil engineering projects and the design of public urban spaces, preferably in an urban environment Strong project management competence as well as enjoyment in managing complex tasks independently and bringing together colleagues from various disciplines and with different interests Problem-solving orientation, willingness to learn, negotiation skills, ability to integrate and a confident appearance towards a wide variety of stakeholder groups as well as stylish German in spoken and written form Experience with BIM or the willingness to actively further develop digital planning methods We offer The opportunity to help shape the future of the largest city.
