In the Oberflächengewässer team, you will commit yourself to healthy streams, rivers and lakes in the Canton of Luzern and thereby make a meaningful contribution to people, nature and the environment. Your tasks • You independently lead projects and working groups, including in the monitoring of lakes, flowing waters and groundwater - including fieldwork. • With your work, you make an important contribution to near-natural lakes and rivers in the Canton of Luzern and assess applications related to water bodies, revitalization and sustainable use. • In hydraulic engineering and revitalization projects, you represent ecological concerns to internal and external partners, for example specialist departments, authorities or project participants. • You advise stakeholders on issues related to water bodies and provide expert information, including to municipal authorities, specialist departments and private individuals. Your profile • You have a degree in natural sciences, for example environmental sciences, geography, biology or chemistry or have a comparable further education. • Professional experience in the areas of water quality, revitalization, water bodies space or water use is an advantage. • In cooperation with different partners and stakeholders, you act confidently, convincingly and in a solution-oriented manner. • You approach complex issues in a structured manner. You maintain an overview even with broad subject areas and set priorities in a targeted way. • As a communicative personality with strong coordination skills, you enjoy working in a team, contribute actively and value intensive professional exchange.
