Service Assistant (restaurant)

The employer is looking for a: barista (reported profession) Tasks: • preparation and service of coffee, cappuccinos, latte macchiato, tea and other hot drinks • preparation and service of cold drinks, soft drinks, beers and simple aperitifs • preparation of sandwiches, toasts, piadinas and baked goods • preparation of salads, cold dishes and snacks • preparation of simple hot dishes, such as pasta and other quick dishes • heating and correct presentation of products • service at the counter and at the tables • management of orders and payments • use of the cash register and the payment terminal • checking and refilling the counter and the display cases • checking expiration dates and correct storage of food • cleaning and tidying of the kitchen, the counter, the tables and the premises • compliance with hygienic standards and HACCP procedures • autonomous management of service when necessary Requirements: • experience in the coffee shop, bar or catering sector • good ability to organize work autonomously • good knowledge of the Italian language, basic knowledge of French and English • speed, precision and attention to cleanliness • ability to work under pressure and to manage stress • positive, polite and professional attitude • excellent ability to relate to customers, attentive to customer needs • seriousness, punctuality and reliability, tidy and respectful of rules • neat and well-groomed appearance • flexibility in hours and availability to work in shifts Employment details: • workplace Chiasso • employment from 50 to 100% • employment immediately, permanent • salary remuneration based on the CCL of the sector • domicile preferably in the area of Chiasso or nearby
