August 2026 Job description Affoltern am Albis, with around 12,800 inhabitants, is the regional center between Zürich and Zug. Around 1000 children attend kindergarten and primary school in our three school units. In the day structures, we offer professional school-supplementary care. As of 17. August 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a head for our lunch program in the Stigeli school building Head of Lunch Program 18.5 hours/week every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.30 - 14.15 (only during school weeks) plus administration and coordination tasks Your area of responsibility Management of the lunch program Active and independent implementation of the processes Professional leadership of two other employees Attendance control and supervision of school children during lunchtime Work in the kitchen (meals are delivered) Cooperation with parents and teachers Participation in meetings with the general manager, internal training and parent meetings Flexible assignments at other locations General domestic tasks You bring with you Qualification Fachperson Betreuung EFZ or equivalent pedagogical training Very good German language skills Professional experience in family-supplementary care Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of people Flexibility, independence, sense of responsibility, organizational and improvisation talent Enjoyment in dealing with parents and children from different cultures We offer Varied, versatile and demanding activity A multicultural, exciting environment Competent support from employees and general management Contemporary employment conditions within the framework of municipal legislation and opportunities for further training Further information will be gladly provided by the general manager of school-supplementary care Silvia Urech at 043 322 60 16 or silvia.urech@stadtaffoltern.ch.
