Your tasks ## • Autonomous analysis and processing of complex and escalated security incidents • Continuous optimization of detections resulting from case processing: evaluation of the triggering rule, implementation or follow-up of adjustments until effectiveness - tuning oriented towards the cause rather than suppression of symptoms. • Establishment of the baseline for new clients and adjustment in case of modifications to environments and log sources • Threat hunting based on threat intelligence (CTI) and client context • Support for quality assurance: case reviews including alerts closed as non-critical, four-eyes principle for critical escalations, calibration of evaluation criteria • Transformation of recurring manual steps into playbooks, enrichment and automation • Training and mentoring of young professionals, including in reflection on optimization and quality • Participation in service development, internal projects and service management meetings • Support during escalations and on-call duties (approximately 3 to 6 times per year, with additional compensation) Your technical skills ## • Degree in computer science (FH/University) or IT training EFZ with at least 5 years of relevant practical experience, including 3 years in a SOC or in the field of incident response • Deep understanding of attack techniques and detection logic according to MITRE ATT&CK • In-depth knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, network/firewall analysis and logs • Experience with modern XDR/SIEM platforms (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Cortex XDR, CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Harfang, Vectra) • In-depth knowledge in incident management and digital forensics basics • Professional certifications (e.g. SC-200, GCDA, GCIA, GCFA, OSCP) Your personal qualities ## • Perfect mastery of German orally and in writing • Good knowledge of English (oral and written) • Reliability and conscientious work • Writing skills: ability to present complex subjects • Proactive commitment: willingness to automate one's own routine tasks • Coaching attitude and constructive behavior during peer reviews • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to make decisions in situations of uncertainty Do you want to take on this challenge?
